i like to switch from deb to snap distribution for LXD under Ubuntu
16.04 and! 18.04. Are there migration howtos for LXD snap migration?

In general, you'd do:
- snap install lxd

Or if you want to stick to 3.0:
- snap install lxd --channel=3.0/stable

Then after the install is done, move your data across using:
- lxd.migrate
